FULL SERVICE INTERIOR DESIGN
Billing and Design Fees
I work on an hourly basis. All clients are billed once a month with a detailed explanation of the date, task and time invested in 15 minute increments. Payment is due 10 days after receipt of invoice. We accept credit cards, checks or Venmo.
Initial Consultation Meeting
During this time, we review your space, collaborate on the design direction and understand the process. We will discuss your needs, vision, lifestyle, budget and timeline and determine the project scope. If applicable at this time, I will take measurements, and/or photographs.
The Agreement
After our initial meeting and we mutually agree we're a good fit, I will write up an Agreement, where I describe the services you are requesting and detail the payments required, etc. After you sign, we can get started.
Full Service fees generally include:
Meetings, concept design / idea boards (Pinterest, sketches, layouts, and elevations), shopping, purchasing & procurement, logistics, troubleshooting and returns. I bill for all correspondence including email, texting, phone conservations, etc.
We are not a contractor; therefore, if the project requires any contractors to perform work the Client shall enter into agreements with such contractor directly.
Purchasing
Once the design concept is finalized and ready for implementation; it’s time to purchase the materials. Following your final confirmation; we will discuss timeline and procurement details to prepare us for the next phase of delivery and installation. We will create all of the purchase orders, negotiate with vendors and ensure that you get the best price possible. Client will receive 100% of designer discount (plus applicable sales tax & shipping costs).
Lead Times
Lead times for merchandise varies greatly from each manufacturer and we have no control over them.
Delivery and Installation
This is the final step of the design process. I will work closely with the architect, relevant craftsmen, suppliers and contractors to ensure the project is accomplished to the utmost standards.
Refunds & Cancellations
Once purchased, most items cannot be returned or cancelled, therefore, requests to do so will be assessed on a per-item basis with no guarantee of return or cancellation; custom (special order) items cannot be cancelled or returned. Time spent on requests for returns and cancellations will be billed hourly. Design Fees and reimbursable expenses are non-refundable, even when associated with a return or cancellation. All restocking fees and freight or postage associated with returns will be charged to client, where applicable.
How We Stay Connected
I prefer email to phone calls, as I’m often out driving, meeting clients or on job sites. However, I’m not opposed to phone calls and will do my best to get back to you within 1 business day if you leave a message. You will get my cell# when we sign our agreement.
While we may do some texting for immediate notifications, I prefer email because record keeping is much more accurate.
No texting after 6 PM during the week or on weekends unless absolutely necessary. You can leave me an email after hours and I will get in touch the following work day.
